You can tell this place is aimed at the local Chinese student population. Huge difference between the English and Chinese menus. Very expensive for what it is. Would only return with a Chinese friend to order off the 'real menu'. Staff wernt very nice.

Had food here last night and cant fault it best chinese ive tasted to date, staff were friendly and helpful.

My friend Rachel introduced me to this place and the dish of schezuan spicy fish (C33 off the Chinese menu). They have two menus so do ask for both if you're feeling adventurous. I also like the broccoli with oyster sauce and salt and pepper squid. The spicy fish comes in a bowl big enough for 3 people to share. I enjoy the act of sharing food from the same bowl, feels very family oriented. Also observe all the people who are eating with there phone in their hands. Don't do it! Enjoy your food without your phone.

Finally Lancashire has a worthy Chinese food restaurant. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere, great deco, good price, and hey, if you love Sichuan food, it's super good. Does better than most restaurants in northern England.

Good taste of food, and very authentic in sichuan style of meal. The chef here is really special, no doubt why this restaurant is called "Aroma Chef". It is undeniable about this virtue. But one big thing that this restaurant absolutely failed me and my group of foreign friends is that the service is completely bad and impolite, one of the staff really doesnt know anything about MANNER, she used a strong tone of voice to customers and expressed her anger over customers and sometimes didnt care what customers ask like chopsticks, spoons, or even tap water....Another staff really doesnt know anything about food when people ask one question, he will be silenced for a sec and run to kitchen to ask the chef and run back in a loop for some time.

Wouldn't recommend.Chipped plates for one and asked for 5 diet cokes thinking they would come in a glass with ice No!! In cans with straws and charged £13 for. Only put one star as it will not let me put no star.

This is the best restaurant of its type anywhere in the Lancaster area. Authentic dishes. Very well prepared. Make sure you get the menu that is not primarily in English for a more accurate taste of Chinese and Asian cuisine.

A very nice little restaurant with delicious Chinese food! The menu has a really long list of various dishes! I had problems to choose one, would have loved to try everything! Also really loved the decorations. You should definitely give it a try when you are in Lancaster!

Simply the best Chinese food restaurant in Lancater.

Authentic Chinese food with a large variety of options on the menu. The food was good, with alternative options to suit your level of spice tolerance. It also opens until 22:00 which is an added perk. However, it's slightly overpriced and the waiters and waitresses come across as slightly impatient.

I like the fish. Some of the noodles are good while some others are too oily. No high chair for children.

Actual authentic sichuan cuisine, very good. Order off the menu that includes Chinese text and go wild. Staff can be a bit rude and menu was changed arguably for the worse.

If you’re not Chinese, don’t bother coming here. They serve Chinese customers first and we sat waiting for our food and even at one point asked for our food but didn’t get our food. Terrible service. Preferential service again. They have a separate menu for English speakers and Chinese speakers as well. Very disappointed. Will not recommend or come here again.

Delicious food :) the crispy chicken was fantastic! Huge portions, I wouldn't be able to finish it myself :)

Lacking customer service and a poor meal. I ordered mixed vegetables and left most of it, it was leafs drenched in a bland sauce.

Wow! This place was very good. It was recommended to my husband and I by our AirBnB hosts that tipped us off that we could ask to order from a more traditional menu if we weren't interested in the typical Chinese takeaway. Our waiter was very kind in helping us choose what suited our palates that craved something very meaty and spicy. We ordered a lovely lamb and noodle dish, and a big beefy stew, both incredibly spicy and delicious. The restaurant was very clean, the prices reasonable, the servings generous, the service quick, and all the staff very kind. Top notch!

Very authentic Chinese food, especially Sichuan cuisine if you like spicy food.

Don't bother unless your Asian. If you want chop sticks, forget it. When we came in to be seated they greeted us then proceeded to move three tables together, making us wait, before sitting us down on a table right next to us that was already prepared. We were given a fork and spoon whilst everyone was given chop sticks, we weren't even offered.We then had to wait longer than necessary for our order whilst they served all the other Asian clients first as they paid less attention to realise we were ready. The whole time we were there, other customers were being served a full glass of milk with their meal. Not complementary but probably because they had spicy food, however, when we asked for a latte after our meal which was less than 40 mins after we saw milk served we were told they can't do these anymore. The milk which they clearly had enough left, as I could clearly see from where we were sat and which we were obviously denied.

Excellent food and even better service. I was amazed how helpful was the waitress. 5 stars.
